The Sisters

The Sisters of Soul Collective (or SOSS for short) are a group of female vocalists who met over 15 years ago when performing as members of The Glasgow Gospel Choir. Initally forming as a quartet before expanding to a larger collective, each one of us share a strong passion for singing and performance. We absolutely love that so many of our audiences comment on how clear it comes across that we love doing our thing, with dear friends and bringing you on a journey of joy with us.

Lou

Having started singing in early childhood, Lou has spent her life in front of a microphone. From school choirs and talent shows to singing with the Glasgow Gospel Choir and Rock Choir, Lou brings her deep rich tones and intricate harmonies to the group. Lou works as an Early Years Music Specialist and runs a childrens choir in Glasgow. Lou prides herself on an extremely ecclectic music taste ranging from classical, heavy metal, rock, pop and of course, blues, gospel and soul music. Lou is the musical director in the group and loves putting together arrangments that create special moments for our clients.

Christie

Christie is another of our powerhouse vocalists who started singing at the age of 15 and hasn't stopped since. She has sung at festivals, theatres and most pubs in the southside of Glasgow. One of her highlights was singing solo on the main stage at the Wickerman festival and more recently performing in Jesus Christ Superstar and Sister Act with the Largs Operatic Society. She loves all types of music but her heart lies in blues and soul music with her favourite influences being Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and Eva Cassidy to more modern-day influences like Imelda May.

Cazz

Cazz is our siren sister who adds depth and soul to the alto section in our collective. This sister has spent the last 10 years singing for hundreds of happy couples, alongside her 5 piece wedding band. When she’s not filling the dancefloor at weddings, she’s donning her wig and thigh high boots performing with the fantastic ‘Voyage’, the prestigious Abba Tribute band. From entertaining audiences in the Glasgow Armadillo and theatres across the North of Scotland, Cazz has alsobbeen flown over to perform in Dubai and Greece… It’s safe to say, Cazz knows how to rock a stage. Her musical influences have always been female power houses! From a young age, she could beheard belting away to Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera & Aretha Franklin. With a love of soul, pop, dance, disco and RnB…she’s happy to tackle any song!
